The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is an English-language qualification for secondary school students. It is a one-year program for students aged 14–16, though they can be taken at any age. The IGCSE is similar to the GCSE and is recognized in the United Kingdom as being equivalent to the GCSE for the purposes of recognizing prior attainment.
